Dr. James Arnold
We are so happy James joined our family practice group in 2021 after working as a locum in our clinic for a few months. James has experience working in rural communities in northern BC as well as in the lower mainland region. He is interested in preventative medicine and office procedures.

NP. Jo Birdsall
Jo completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at UBC in 2016. She has worked in home health with Geriatric Outreach for frail elders, medical assistance in dying, and Urgent Care. Prior to becoming an NP Jo worked as an RN for 10 years in cardiac, vascular, and emergency medicine. When not working Jo is chasing around her three young children. She also enjoys running and hot yoga. Description goes here

NP. Yvonne Bone
Yvonne completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training after working as an RN in a variety of areas. Her areas of special interest include newborn care, pediatrics, young adults and women's health. You might see her hiking with her Labradoodle.

Dr. Nwando Ezimora
Nwando completed her medical school and residency training in Nigeria. She moved to Canada with her family in 2019. Her clinical interests include geriatrics, mental health and office medical procedures. She enjoys hiking, swimming and music.

Dr Chinwe Ezisi
Dr Ezisi graduated from medical school in 2002 and completed her family medicine residency in her home country, Nigeria. She has been practicing since then and, in 2024, she relocated to beautiful British Columbia, which is now her new home.
She is a strong patient advocate and the health and wellness of her patients is always her top priority.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and experiencing new cultures.

Dr. Sara Kahrobaei
Dr. Kahrobaei started working as a family physician in Port Coquitlam in 2014 after she immigrated to Canada from England. In addition to family medicine, she is interested in women's health, paediatrics and cosmetic treatments.

Dr. Peter Le Voi
Dr. Le Voi trained in the UK and moved across the Atlantic to join BMMC in 2021. He loves outdoor activities in the spring and summer in beautiful BC.

NP. Janette Liang
Janette completed her family Nurse Practitioner training at UBC in 2020. She gained lots of primary care experience working as an ER nurse in Detroit. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, mental health and overall wellness. She plays hockey, too!

Dr. Curtis Manning
Dr. Manning moved "home" to the Tri-Cities area from Calgary and started his new family practice at Burke Mountain Medical Centre in October, 2019. He plays lacrosse and enjoys outdoor pursuits like cycling and hiking.

Dr. Ali Sanei
Dr. Sanei-Moghaddam trained in ENT and surgery in the UK before he moved his family to Canada to start a new career in Family Medicine. He is interested in non-invasive and minor surgical treatments for aging-related skin conditions.

Dr. Kevin Sclater
Kevin Sclater, MD is a family doctor with specialist certification in palliative care. He grew up in Coquitlam, studied sciences at UBC, then graduated from medical school at the University of Calgary in 1990. Upon completion of an internship at Royal Columbian Hospital in 1991, he took over a thriving family practice in Port Coquitlam where he continues to enjoy this work. Dr. Sclater has also worked as a palliative care physician for more than 25 years. He is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with an “added competency in palliative care”. He is currently seeing palliative care clients on Tuesdays at the Integrated Health Clinic in White Rock. He is also interested in aviation medicine and provides pilot license examinations. Dr. Sclater is married with 3 adult children. Outside of work, Dr. Sclater is active with his church and community events where he speaks about freedoms (of speech, religion and conscience)

Dr. Julie Tung
Dr. Tung joined Burke Mountain Medical Centre in 2017 after practicing as a locum physician in Tri-Cities for several years. Originally from Ontario, she moved to BC in 2000 and keeps busy as a "Hockey Mom" and "Dance Mom".

Dr. Ella Zenone
Ella completed her Family Medicine residency training at UBC - including 2 years at BMMC - and has now joined us as a fulltime associate. When she is not busy chasing her toddler, she enjoys yoga, reading a spending time outdoors.
